Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager – Tech to lead and manage technology-focused projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology project management, be able to work cross-functionally with teams, and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting the companys strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring all project goals are clearly defined and achievable.
- Lead project teams in the execution of the project plan and monitor the performance of all team members.
- Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables with key stakeholders.
- Track project progress and manage any changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and clients.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to all stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Address obstacles that may affect the project’s progress and offer solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure proper escalation and resolution of project-related issues when necessary.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide guidance to team members, and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, driving successful teamwork and problem-solving.
Quality Control & Reporting:
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, including project performance reports, to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify successes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure that all necessary resources, both human and technical, are in place to meet project objectives.
